Spring ALPHA Starts April 6, 2010
What is Alpha? An opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, nonthreatening setting over ten thought provoking sessions including one Saturday. It is low key, friendly, fun and supported by all the main Christian denominations.Alpha originated in the Anglican Church over 20 years ago and has spread worldwide to include over 13,000,000 participants from all walks of life and religious affiliations. Alpha offers the newcomer an opportunity to explore the validity and relevance of the Christian faith and it offers the longtime believer a chance to renew and refresh their understanding of why they believe. Alpha gives you the opportunity to ask all of the questions you have always wanted to ask.
Please, prayerfully consider taking the course if you have not. Those of you who have taken the course, please invite a friend, family member or neighbor to the Dinner Party, January 19, 2010.
The first night isn't a commitment. It's simply a chance to see if Alpha might be for you. Our topic the first evening is: "Christianity: Boring, Untrue, Irrelevant?" If you like what you hear and want to return for the rest of the course, we'd love to have you!
